All plans include realtime AI voice agents, the visual flow builder, business-hours routing, transcripts & recordings, signed webhooks, MCP tools, and the public OpenAPI. Overage minutes are metered and billed monthly. Additional phone numbers beyond the included count are $6 / mo each. Phone-number lookups are $0.05 per request.

Common questions

What counts as a “minute”?
Every active second of a HUM voice call (inbound or outbound) is metered to the second and rounded up to the minute on monthly statements. Voicemail drops, missed calls, and rings without an answer are not metered.
What happens if we go over included minutes?
On Starter, Growth, and Scale, calls keep working — overage minutes are billed at the rate listed on the plan. On Trial, the agent will not place new calls once the included minutes are exhausted; upgrade to keep going.
Can I bring my own Twilio account?
Yes. You can either use HUM-managed numbers or bring your own Twilio sub-account. We document both setups in the dashboard.
Do you sign a BAA?
BAAs are available on the Enterprise plan. HUM is built with HIPAA controls in mind, but for production PHI workloads we want a paper trail in place.
How does Stripe billing work?
Self-serve plans (Starter, Growth, Scale) check out through Stripe and renew monthly. Overage minutes and phone-lookup usage are reported as Stripe Meter events and added to the next invoice.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes — upgrade or downgrade any time from the in-app billing page. Changes take effect immediately and prorate against the current billing period.
